Privacy policy
Who we are
[Your business name], [registered address], is responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
Parent or guardian contact details, the student's first name and grade, and the information you choose to share about their learning. During tutoring we keep attendance records, progress notes and assessment results.
Children's information
We collect only what we need to teach and report progress, and we share it only with the parents or guardians who enrolled the student. [Add any requirements of children's privacy laws that apply to you, such as COPPA, FERPA or GDPR.]
How we use it
To arrange assessments, plan sessions, send Friday notes and term reviews, and handle billing. [State your legal basis where your law requires it.] We never sell personal data.
Service providers
[Your form service], [your email provider], [your billing provider] and [your video platform for online sessions] process data on our behalf.
Fonts and cookies
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. The site sets no cookies. [Update this if you add analytics or embedded maps.]
Your rights
[Describe the rights families have — access, correction, deletion — and how to use them.]
Terms of service

A place is confirmed once the first payment is received. Groups are capped at four students.
Attendance and make-up sessions
Tell us about an absence by noon on the day and we'll offer a make-up place in another group that week where one is available.

[Describe your expectations for behaviour and what happens if a student repeatedly disrupts a group.]
Liability and governing law
[Your limitation of liability wording and the state or country whose law applies.]
Cancellations & refunds
First-month fit guarantee
If a monthly program isn't the right fit after the first four weeks, tell us and we'll refund that first month in full.
Monthly programs
Cancel any time with 14 days' notice. [Explain how notice periods and partial months are billed.]
Courses
SAT & ACT Prep and Essay & College Writing are refundable in full before the second session, and [describe any partial refunds after that].
Safeguarding
Every tutor passes an enhanced background check before working with students, and the check is renewed every [two] years. Rooms have glass doors, a staff member is always on site, and online sessions are recorded and stored for [30] days.
Our designated safeguarding lead is [name], who can be reached at [email or phone]. [Link to or summarise your full safeguarding policy.]
