A family story

How Lucía went from “I'm bad at math” to helping her friends

Lucía joined Math Foundations in September, two grades behind on fractions and certain she “just wasn't a math person.” Her tutor started with what she could already do and built from there, a little every Monday and Wednesday.

By December she was finishing homework on her own — and explaining ratios to her study group.

Simple process

Four steps from first call to first session

How our sessions work
  1. Book a free assessment

Pick a time online. It takes two minutes and there's nothing to pay.

We call to confirm and ask a few questions about your child's school year.

  2. Meet a tutor

A 45-minute, low-pressure session to see what your child can already do.

You get a written summary of strengths, gaps and a suggested program.

  3. Join a group of four

We place your child with peers at a similar level, with one tutor all term.

Groups are matched by grade and skills, not just by age.

  4. Hear back every Friday

A short note on what was covered, how it went and what to practise.

Plus a progress review at the end of every term.

What families say

Parents notice the difference

“Our daughter used to dread math homework. Now she explains it to us at dinner — and her grade went from a C to an A− in one term.”
